All of this makes me want to have a little office and art studio in Italy, roaming the streets all romantic-like, eating gelato and pasta, listening to street musicians….can you tell I have some wanderlust?? Also, I feel like I never knew that I was searching for the perfect locket until I stumbled upon this one, so dark and beautiful.

Just the other day, I looked down at my totebag that i lug around everywhere and realized that it was pretty much the most disgusting thing I own. In the spirit of spiffing up even the pieces I don’t usually give much thought to, I’d love this tote from Proud Mary (plus it was hand-crafted in Guatemala and I’m a big fan of the whole Proud Mary mission and business model). There’s also this beautiful wooden table fan, a household item I don’t usually think about being so pretty; add some new earrings and a new lightweight coat and I’d be feeling much more put together!!

I simply think all of these things are ridiculously pretty and I’d love to buy them for myself or get them as gifts. Don’t they just make you in a good mood looking at them? The ring is a custom one, but definitely check out the rest of what Vim Beget has to offer, really beautiful and interesting pieces.

Drawing what my boyfriend wants today. Funny thing is that I almost drew that ring for myself last week and I’m now obsessed with those earbuds, so looks like he’s going to need to learn how to share…. Also, those jeans come from a site where all jeans are only $20, but they only carry jeans for men….so basically what I’m saying is that I’m really jealous of his ‘draw what i want.’

I don’t even want to wear this dress, I just want to frame it. I don’t think it’s for sale as it’s part of a final collection (for design school) by student Maia Bergman. Her collection landed her as a finalist in the H&M Design Awards 2013. All those dots? Plastic beads hand sewn onto fabric.

Feeling some soft, floaty colors today, simple shapes & lines. Ah, that gold handle handbag is gorgeous, you can see more examples of the beautiful colors and shapes they take form in over at Honestly WTF.

It’s FINALLY getting warmer out (okay, it’s 51˚, but almost) and all I want to do is be outside. I’m buying a car soon, which means that going to a beach or boardwalk won’t be so difficult anymore, sooo….I’d love to keep this hand painted & carved Hand Plane by surf photographer & designer Karl Mackie in my car. Along with it, a custom (“designed” by me!) weekender bag from Kate Spade’s fun new Saturday line.

On vacation, be back next week!!
I know, I know, I usually stick to fashion/accessories, but I literally don’t want anything right now except for a KitchenAid. My kitchen is so small and all I do is dream of the not-so-distant future in which I can have one of these classics. Personally I want Imperial Grey, but the Cocoa Silver is awfully pretty…..

M. and I are planning a road trip of sorts soon and today’s draw what I want items are making me incredibly pumped to go. A bikini top for spontaneous ocean & lake swimming, easy access to pencils for sketching, hair powder to look presentable, hydration, and because M. likes the AC more than I do, a cardigan.
